Counter
Problem Description
Given an integer n
, return a counter
function. This counter
function initially returns n
and then returns 1 more than the previous value every subsequent time it is called (n
, n + 1
, n + 2
, etc).
Example
Example 1:
n = 10
["call","call","call"]
Output: [10,11,12]
Explanation:
counter() = 10 // The first time counter() is called, it returns n.
counter() = 11 // Returns 1 more than the previous time.
counter() = 12 // Returns 1 more than the previous time.
Example 2:
Input:
n = -2
["call","call","call","call","call"]
Output: [-2,-1,0,1,2]
Explanation: counter() initially returns -2. Then increases after each sebsequent call.
Constraints
0 <= calls.length <= 1000
Solution Approach
Intuition:
To efficiently determine the counter
Solution Implementation
Code :
/**
* @param {number} n
* @return {Function} counter
*/
var createCounter = function(n) {
return function() {
return n++;
};
};
