🏁 Start Your Coding Journey
Welcome to the CodeHarborHub family! You are standing at the starting line of an incredible journey. If you have ever wanted to build your own website, app, or digital masterpiece but didn't know where to start you are in the right place.
In this track, we don't just teach you how to "copy and paste" code. We teach you how to think like a developer.
Your Learning Roadmap
We have broken down the massive world of web development into three simple, bite-sized stages. Think of it like building a house:
Stage 1: HTML (The Structure)
You will learn how to build the "Skeleton" of a website. Tags, headings, links, and images. Without this, there is no website.
Stage 2: CSS (The Style)
You will learn how to paint your house. Colors, fonts, layouts, and making your site look perfect on a mobile phone.
Stage 3: JavaScript (The Brain)
You will learn how to make your house "smart." Buttons that click, forms that validate, and interactive features that wow your users.
What You Will Need
You don't need a supercomputer to be a developer. All you need is:
- A Computer: Windows, Mac, or Linux (even a Chromebook works!).
- A Browser: We recommend Google Chrome or Firefox for their great developer tools.
- A Code Editor: We suggest VS Code (It's free and the industry standard).
- Curiosity: The most important tool in your kit.
How to Use These Tutorials
Each lesson in this series is designed to be Practical First. Here is our recommended flow:
- Read: Understand the "Why" behind the code.
- Watch: Look at the diagrams and code snippets.
- Play: Use the Interactive CodePens inside each page to break and fix things.
- Build: Complete the "Mini-Challenges" at the end of every chapter.
